If you know me, you know that photography was my first love, and is and has been my passion! Being able to look back on specific photos I have shot and be taken right back to that specific moment is something that is SO special to me! Lately, I have also been dipping my toes in a little bit of videography and It has been so much fun! There is also something so magical about having those memories captured in real-time, on a video that you can watch, and hear voices! So today, I thought it would be fun to do a roundup of my favorite apps, but when I was looking back through my phone & my videos, I realized that I literally only use these two to edit videos! So instead, I’m going to showcase two apps, that have worked so well for me! I love these ones especially because they are also PERFECT for beginners. Videography is something that should never be limited to just those who already have the skills, or the money to be able to purchase professional equipment & editing software, especially, if your purpose in wanting to do it is to capture memories for you & your family. So I hope you are able to try these apps, and love them as much as I do!

First up, is the @tezzaapp! I’m sure tons of you already use it for photography editing, and not only is it AMAZING for photos, but it is perfect for video editing as well! My favorite thing about this app is that you can add filters, adjust colors, and do some fun effects like vintage film or glitter.

@videoshopapp is my favorite for the actual editing part once you get the effects you want and the colors right on Tezza. You can put together all your clips, resize or crop the videos, adjust speed, trim clips, add music or voiceovers, and so much more. It really is a one-stop shop for beginner video editors and I love that about it!

There is something so fun about being able to have a video of a specific trip or memory, all edited together with your favorite songs that mean something special to you and your family and watching it together! As much as I love photography, videos have a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to continue playing around with shooting and editing and improving my skills!
