Southwest Road Trip
Just got back from a road trip with two of my best friends! We drove from Austin, TX to LA!
I LOVE travel photography so obviously, I took pics the whole way - and then used the self-timer on my Canon 5D Mark IV to take a pic on Devil's Bridge in Sedona! Still obsessed with this camera 💕
Here was our full itinerary:
DAY 1 - Left Austin and drove to Santa Fe. Took about 11 Hours so we didn't get to Santa Fe until late that evening. We had margs and green chile enchiladas for dinner!
* Budget Travel Tip: Hotel Tonight got us great prices! We could book the hotel room on our way to each city.
DAY 2 - Spent the day walking around Santa Fe, it's such a cute little town! Make sure to check out the jewelry & crystals. We went for a hike in the Atalaya area, but there's tons of other trails too.
After the hike, we went to the Ten Thousand Waves Japanese spa. Amazzzing. For $25 you can use the mineral pool & showers for the day.
At the end of the day we had dinner at Cafe Pasqual's - so good!!
DAY 3 - We left in the morning to drive to Sedona! The red rocks surrounding were gorgeous, and it seems like such a cute town. I wish we had more time here.
We had dinner at Elote, it was a long wait, but delicious.
DAY 4 - We woke up at like 6:30am to hike to Devil's Bridge. Definitely worth the early wake up time, it was so nice to be the only ones on the hike! It takes about an hour to hike all the way to the bridge but it was TOTALLY worth it. Insane views and you'll get an awesome instagram pic 😉
After the hike we got lunch at Local Juicery and hit the road back to LA.
